Čapljina Tepih was opened in 2018 by experienced leaders in the handmade carpet weaving art and the touristic shopping sector. It is located in Čapljina, at the crossroads of cities like Mostar, Međugorje, Sarajevo, Makarska, Split, Dubrovnik, and Kotor. Čapljina Tepih carpet center, serving also as an art center, has a 3.400 m² covered area (two floors) including various size rooms for group and individual presentations.

Handmade carpets are woven in a world of styled motifs and colors, with a far more profound mythological and cultural significance beyond a fringe. They have been variously designed from classical to contemporary according to the age and used as interior decoration for centuries.
The people in Čapljina Tepih are multi-national and they come from different cultural backgrounds. However, everyone in Čapljina Tepih is working together in a peaceful manner and enjoys presenting the handmade carpet weaving art.

Čapljina Tepih is open every day from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.
