After breakfast, guide will take you for walking tour walking tour with Princip Bridge (site of 1914 assassination of Archduke Ferdinand) Careva Mosque, Franciscan Monastery of St Ante, Svrzo Museum (house and garden of former Ottoman governor), Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque (one of finest examples of Ottoman architecture in Balkans)

After breakfast whole-day excursion to Kraljeva Sutjeska where you have opportunity to visit Franciscan monastery – treasure house of Bosnian culture. We are given a guided tour of the library.
Departure to Zenica, where You will explore the Ottoman quarter, the former synagogue and the new museum and cultural center.
Continue driving to medieval village and fortress of Vranduk before returning to Sarajevo.

After breakfast whole-day excursion firstly to Travnik, an old trading town and military strongpoint for the Turks. After a break at a cafe near a rushing stream where Nobel Prize Winner Ivo Andric used to go, we climb to the fortress which has an excellent new museum. We descend to the colored mosque and continue to Birthplace of Andric and the local museum. We go on to Jajce for lunch. We visit the Roman temple of Mithras, and climb past St Luke’s tower up to the castle, then follow the walls and fortified gates till we reach the famous waterfalls below the old town.

After breakfast whole-day excursion to Foca (former caravanserai on trade route to Dubrovnik) where You will see the remains of the old center, and later continue via a wild landscape of gorges and torrents to Visegrad to cross on foot Sinan’s 16th century bridge over River Drina.

After breakfast, visit to the Tunnel of escape used in the 1990’s war to move supplies in and refugees out. Then to the Sarajevo History Museum,16th century Ali Pasha’s Mosque, former Austrian official buildings, Jewish Museum, Catholic and Orthodox cathedrals.Lunch in local restaurant. Free time recommend to use opportunity for shopping and walking, visit of bazaars and market places.

After breakfast, transfer to Mostar for two nights…
Afternoon in Mostar visiting old town, Kujundziluk bazaar, Kriva Cuprija (crooked bridge), reconstructed 16th century Stari Most Bridge (symbol of Mostar), Turkish House and Karadjoz-Bey’s Mosque.

After breakfast transfer to Blagaj, a former Dervish house beautifully situated beside a clear river pouring from a cliff face. Later, drive to the mysterious “Stecci” tombs at Radimlja and explore Pocitelj, an Ottoman hill town and beautifully restored UNESCO heritage site.
