Hutovo Blato Nature Reserve is one of best known havens for migrating birds to be seen in their natural habitat. The unique flora and fauna and wildlife features of the park captivate the interest of visitors worldwide. It is a natural retreat for bird watchers in an environment of amazing diversity yet harmony of forms and colours.It is situated 30 km south of Mostar in the Neretva delta. You can visit this area in half an hour from Mostar and join the boat tour (45 minutes tour) through sunny glades, Derensko lake and past swampland trees.
