About the Role
Fortuna DMC is one of the leading destination management companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, specialising in MICE, incentive travel, and tailor-made programmes for international clients. We are looking for a hands-on B2B Marketing Manager to drive our international market presence, from trade fairs and partner databases to promotional materials that position BiH as a premium destination.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Events & Trade Fair Preparation
• Coordinate Fortuna DMC's participation in international trade fairs and B2B events (WTM, ITB, IMEX, regional workshops).
• Build event dashboards tracking upcoming fairs, deliverables, contacts, and follow-up status.
• Prepare company profiles, presentation materials, and promotional packages tailored to each event and market.
• Pre-schedule appointments with partners, travel agents, and hosted buyers ahead of each fair.
Post-Event Follow-Up & Email Marketing
• Execute structured email follow-up sequences after events and B2B meetings.
• Build and manage segmented email campaigns by country, market, and client type.
• Maintain newsletter communication with the partner network and track campaign performance.
CRM & Partner Database Management
• Clean and structure Fortuna's partner databases, segmented by country, source market, and business type.
• Develop and implement an email marketing strategy aligned to each target segment including cadence, content pillars, and campaign calendar.
B2B Marketing Strategy
• Develop and maintain Fortuna DMC’s overall B2B marketing strategy defining target markets, positioning, key messages, and annual priorities.
• Identify and prioritise key source markets and partner segments for outreach and growth.
• Track and report on marketing performance event leads, campaign results, and inquiry conversion, to inform strategic decisions.
Design of Promotional Materials
This role requires confident, independent design work in Canva at a professional B2B level, PDF presentations, incentive proposals, destination brochures, email templates, and trade fair collateral, maintaining consistent visual identity across all client-facing materials.
B2B Sales Support & Partner Communication
• Support the sales team with professional proposals, partner materials, and follow-up communication.
• Generate new leads through targeted outreach and fair contacts.
• Coordinate with the operations team to develop and promote new incentive products and experiences.
Website CMS & Social Media
• Manage and update the company website via CMS, publishing news, programme updates, and destination content.
• Occasional creation of visual content for social media channels to support the company's online presence.
• Monitor AI and marketing technology trends relevant to the tourism and MICE sector.
What We Are Looking For
• Excellent English, written and spoken, for daily communication with international partners.
• Experience in tourism, hospitality, events, or the MICE sector; understanding of B2B sales dynamics.
• Advanced Canva skills, able to independently produce professional B2B collateral.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Brevo, or similar) and campaign segmentation.
• Organised, proactive, and self-directed, able to manage multiple deadlines without close supervision.
• Active use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in daily workflow.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
Key Performance Objectives
• Increase the volume and quality of qualified international inquiries.
• Improve conversion from initial contact to confirmed project.
• Strengthen Fortuna DMC's brand recognition in key source markets.
• Professionalise the presentation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a MICE and incentive destination.
• Integrate AI and modern marketing tools into everyday workflows.
